What: All Saints Day is a time to commemorate and honor our deceased by gathering in fellowship and celebration, and by cleaning our Black cemeteries. In Dallas, we choose Freedman’s Cemetery, the burial site for Dallas’s first Freedman’s town. Read the articles below for more detail.
How: Wear white, cover your head, and bring offerings*. Also bring trash bags and gloves to clean up the site.
